Consultancy We advise on a wide range of subjects. Some involve well-trodden paths, where our experience of similar projects is directly relevant. More often than one might expect, the situation is unique to the client and a mixture of experience and lateral thought is needed. Some projects are narrowly defined, with a set objective and a time-scale. Others, and perhaps the most interesting ones, have a general target - the solution of a problem or the gaining of a competitive advantage - where a range of answers evolve through informed discussion. We have the particular areas of expertise and interests such as law firms and IT, but the skills and principles are applicable to other areas of business, and for clients other than lawyers. Put at its widest, we get involved in anything where the management of professional service businesses and the use of computers and IT intersect.
